The Banney state forest holds many mysteries for nature lovers. On foot, by bike or on horseback, there are numerous circuits to discover, in particular, Celtic fountains. Get ready for a breath of fresh air!
Ideal for children, the Banney forest has a special area just for them. A variety of games to let off steam and make friends, have a picnic and spend time with the family. And to the side, two large enclosures with forest animals. The animals can be observed quite easily as it is possible to walk around the enclosures via a short walk in the forest.
To be seen are wild boars, descendants of a couple from the Jura. Although they are very greedy, you should not feed them! The sika deer, a species originating from the Far East and smaller than the red deer, are used to visitors and do not hesitate to approach the fences. Beware, however, that in the spring, females who have just given birth can be very protective of their new offspring!
Between the games and the animals present, there is no doubt that your children will enjoy themselves in the Banney forest. Don't forget your camera!
