Tribute to Robert Schuman, Father of Europe, "Le Secret de Luxeuil".
14, 15 and 16 June 2024.
Celebrations and conferences based on Robert Schuman's speech, made in Luxeuil in July 1950 to mark the 14th centenary of the birth of St Colomban. Robert Schuman, Minister of Foreign Affairs, is said to have held a secret diplomatic meeting during this event in Luxeuil, in order to move Europe forward.

PROGRAMME :
Friday 14th June :
3.30pm: Meetings with 3rd year students from the Collège St Colomban.
Saturday 15th June :
9am: Conference on Robert Schuman by Mr Loïck Erman.
10.30am: Celebration in the basilica with H.E. Mgr Treanor (Pierre Doillon and Giorgio Revelli on the organ).
12pm: Inauguration of the Robert Schuman plaque, followed by a reception.
6.45pm: Basilica concert by Giorgio Revelli / Theme: Europe.
Sunday 16th June :
9am: Round table discussion on Robert Schuman (free participation).
11am: Sunday Mass in the Basilica.
13:30/14:00: Visit to the sites of St Colomban (organised by the Friends of St Colomban).
