Show on 22 December 2024: Travel Guide to Japan
Legend has it that Japan is a floating island resting on the back of a catfish whose movement causes earthquakes. The show will be made up of several tableaux introduced by texts from the Théâtre le Philépat: legendary, poetic or historical tales, such as that of the English navigator William Adams who became a samurai after countless adventures. Together with the musical pieces, they will take the audience on an exotic journey to this faraway land that has fascinated the French from the 19th century to the present day. The music will be enhanced by images, including an extract from a famous Miyasaki animated film. Performed by the Orchestre d'harmonie de Luxeuil, with the participation of the Harmonie municipale de Lure. Musical direction: Claude Jourdan and Daniel Rollet.
