Her extraordinary voice and her lightness in the face of a life that was sometimes so heavy drove the young girl to sing in the streets, like the young Piaf in her early days. Frequenting the Parisian underworld in search of success, she accepted an offer from a shady producer to impersonate the real Piaf in his show.
