There was a time when the claqueurs were the ones who made or broke plays.
If, abandoned by his regular troupe, Levasseur, the head clapper, can't find anyone to do the claque tonight, his reputation is over. And where better to find a better claque than in a theatre?
With the help of his accomplice Balbuzard and Balbuzard's sister, he decides to call in some novices to make this evening's show a success.
Interactive, this play, accessible to young and old alike, is full of wild energy, led by a trio of actors as hilarious as they are dynamic. Written by Fred Radix, whom we welcomed as a season opener in 2010, the show is a huge success in Paris, where it has been sold out for months.
