By and with Bérangère Dautun.
Based on the novel by Claude-Alain Planchon.
Directed by Stéphane Cottin
Love stories that ignore ages and generations are not the prerogative of fiction and this story is proof of that. Based on the story by Claude-Alain Planchon, the theatrical adaptation is by Bérengère Dautun who takes on the female role with fervour, enhanced by her partner.
December 1982. He is 34, she is 70. He is a young doctor, she is a leading figure in the world of dance. During a gala evening at the Garnier Opera House, their hands brush against each other... They will never leave each other's side. From this unpredictable encounter, a singular, absolute and marvellous love is born. Bérengère Dautun is an exceptional actress (winner of the Best Actress of the Off in Avignon in 2021 for this play) who can boast 34 years at the Comédie Française. Her presence alone is an invitation not to miss this show, whose modest staging is enhanced by Stéphane Baquet's set design and lighting.
