From Islam to his conversion to Catholicism via Protestantism, Mehdi has made the question of God an obsessive (en)quest. In this one-man show, which leaves the beaten track and the politically correct, Mehdi humorously looks back on his astonishing spiritual journey, but also on his childhood in Saint-Etienne in a family of Algerian origin, his experience in delinquency, and then his career as an actor trained at the Manufacture, a high theatre school in Lausanne working in a progressive and atheistic environment.
Everyone gets a piece of his mind in this invigorating and heart-warming exercise in style, which proves that with a good text, you can laugh at anything.
