40 years of the Fête du Bois!

9am to 10am: Wood Mass
10.30am: Opening of the FETE. Exhibitions of woodworking crafts and local products. ONF exhibition, Office de Tourisme Vosges du Sud.
11am: Beginning of the woodcutters' competition (passe-partout, axe, chainsaw (skill and dexterity), splitting).
11.30am: Reception of VIPs in the town hall square.
Inauguration of the Fête du Bois (11.30am) on the competition site in the presence of Mr Romain ROYET, Prefect of Haute-Saône.
12pm: Musical interlude "Jazzouille" - primary school courtyard.
12.30pm: Vin d'honneur under the lime trees - primary school.
From 12 noon: Catering.
From 2pm to 6.30pm: Resumption of the Lumberjack Competition (axe test - skill test - splitting test). Jazzouille" concert. Jean-François LAROCHE harvester demonstration and Bernard AUBEL shredding demonstration. Country dancing by "Seven Horses Country" - town hall podium. Street entertainment with the clown "L'Haricot", juggler and tightrope walker.
6.30pm: Competition final - Precision axe felling - Followed by the prize-giving ceremony (7pm).
From 7pm: Catering.
9.30pm: Concert and dancing by AD'LINE EVIDENCE ANIMATION - French songs.
10.30pm: Fireworks: Fireworks in the church.
At 10.45pm: Free popular dance (school courtyard).
