This former forest belonging to the monks of Luxeuil Abbey is full of treasures, including springs, fountains, an ancient Roman road and a Napoleon road.

From the top of the Chapelle Saint-Colomban, take a break and admire the view over the Breuchin valley. Next to the chapel is the grotto, whose ceiling has now collapsed, where the monk liked to retire to pray in solitude.

The trail also passes through a remarkable area listed as a Natura 2000 site, notably for its dry grassland habitat and its discreet orchids.

Tuileries Circuit
From the Étang Neuf, a natural area with chalets and huts for hikers with a childlike spirit, the route reveals Passavant-la-Rochère's industrial past, passing by six former tile works, three of which were still in operation in the 1950s. But the advent of the cement tile precipitated the closure of the last tile works, halving the village's population over the same period.
