You may be familiar with the idea of a library, but do you have any idea what lies behind the term "human library"?
Have you ever sat comfortably in the carriage of the train taking you to your destination and exchanged a few words with the passenger opposite you? Or in the window seat next to you, on the aisle, have you ever listened to someone's story during your flight? Or have you never confided in a stranger?
The human library uses this concept. Instead of borrowing a story, you borrow a living novel. Instead of hiding your beautiful eyes behind the pages of a book, you open up to the person who is ready to listen.
A moment of sharing, respect and gentleness - that's what the spirit of the human library is all about. And these values are the same as those of Plumes d'Anges.
At the Plumes d'Anges boutique, in the area specially set aside for this purpose, you can try out a one-to-one reading/live book session. A theme, always a positive one - that's the subtlety of the human library imagined by Plumailfe - is selected together for each session. Don't worry, you're not just left to your own devices, though... Each session includes a period of support.
How much does it cost? The price is free and in good conscience, you give what you wish.
To take part, just come as you are and remember to book - it's ultra-preferable! The number of places is limited to 6 people.
