Plumes d'Anges invites the Maison du Bonheur to offer you a laughter yoga session in the colours of Christmas!
What is laughter yoga?
Laughter Yoga is a unique concept where anyone can laugh for no reason, without resorting to jokes or even having a sense of humour. The laughter begins in a group as an exercise, maintaining eye contact and recapturing the carefree spirit of children: it quickly turns into real laughter and becomes contagious. We call it laughter yoga because it's based on a combination of laughter and yoga breathing. This brings more oxygen to the body and brain, making you feel more energetic and healthy. The concept of Laughter Yoga is based on a scientific fact: the body does not distinguish between intentional and spontaneous laughter. In both cases, the practitioner achieves the same physiological and psychological benefits. It was a medical doctor, Dr Madan Kataria, who invented laughter yoga in India in 1995 and launched the first laughter club. Today, the phenomenon is a global one, with thousands of Laughter Yoga clubs in over 107 countries.
