Eliad's Prevention Department is organising a themed afternoon for people aged 60 and over and/or their carers:
"Adapting your home... it's now! Preventing loss of independence".
In Luxeuil-les-Bains: Tuesday 5 December 2023 from 2pm to 4.30pm.

Information, demonstrations and workshops to help you stay independent at home and when out and about.

In a friendly atmosphere, the aim of this afternoon is to encourage people aged 60 and over and/or their carers to think ahead and prepare calmly for a possible loss of independence.

The programme includes
- Advice on adapting the home
- Recommendations on the use of technical aids to help with transfers, walking and getting around
- Information on financial aid for equipment
- Workshop: Balance course
- Advice for family carers on how to help a loved one more easily and safely.
