Théâtre : Pourquoi les Lions sont-ils si tristes?
Jean is a journalist who is suddenly called to the bedside of his father Georges, aged 85, who is nearing the end of his life. After an absence of fifteen years, he is confronted with the role of home carer.
Gabrielle, Jean's 23-year-old daughter, is an emergency nurse at a public hospital, and when she hears the news she encounters the reality of her job. Paul, Georges' neighbour and friend, was in charge of restructuring large companies until his life was turned upside down. He has been the only person close to Georges in recent years.
The show examines the place of work and family over three generations, the battles fought, the dented filiations and how they are repaired. "Why are lions so sad? is a call to life and to the present.
